I went out one early morning to see what the city looked without all the tourist pollution in my photos. I walked up and down one of the larger canals my hotel was on. I got to watch and really appreciate the ships going up and down, or the small local grocers going through their produce and getting rid of anything that wasn’t fresh. On my way back from the long walk, this woman was just gazing out of her window appreciating the soft rain that had begun coming down, or maybe not. She could of been off in her own world thinking about her own things as well, but I just thought it was a great photograph. It felt like the opening scene to an incredibly shot movie, but it was real.
